Our focus areas include customers, stores, and employees, in-store services, supplier equipment, supplier data science, and search and personalization. **Key Responsibilities** As a Staff Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for leading data science initiatives that drive business outcomes and improve customer experiences. Your key responsibilities will include: * **Data Source Identification**: Identify and extract relevant data sources, define data quality requirements, and perform preliminary data quality tests. * **Problem Formulation**: Analyze business problems, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes. * **Analytical Modeling**: Develop and deploy machine learning models that drive business outcomes, including predictive modeling, clustering, and recommendation systems. * **Model Deployment & Scaling**: Deploy and scale machine learning models in production, ensuring high-quality data and model performance. * **Code Development & Testing**: Develop and test code to deploy machine learning models, ensuring high-quality code and model performance. * **Applied Business Acumen**: Evaluate business cases for projects and initiatives, influence business stakeholder decision-making, and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions. * **Model Assessment & Validation**: Evaluate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to improve model accuracy and robustness. * **Data Visualization and Storytelling**: Develop data visualizations and stories that communicate complex data insights to business stakeholders, driving business outcomes and improving customer experiences. **What You'll Bring** To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring the following skills and qualifications: * **Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field**. * **4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field**, with a strong background in data science, machine learning, and programming. * **Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data science**, with experience in developing and deploying machine learning models. * **Strong programming skills**, with experience in languages such as Python, R, or SQL. * **Ability to execute projects end-to-end**, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders. * **Implement best practices in ML Ops, coding standards, and data quality**, ensuring high-quality data and model performance. * **Clear communication skills**, with experience in communicating complex data insights to business stakeholders. **What We Offer** As a Staff Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll enjoy a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for career growth and development.
