About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and highly skilled Recruiter to join our global talent acquisition team. As a key member of our HR department, you'll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent from around the world. Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and posting job ads to attract top talent from around the world
- Reviewing resumes and screening candidates to ensure they meet our company's requirements
- Scheduling interviews and skills tests by coordinating appointments with candidates and hiring managers
- Conducting interviews with candidates on Zoom to assess their skills and fit for the role
- Administering skills tests to evaluate candidates' technical abilities
- Inputting, updating, and maintaining data in our recruiting database to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping
- Conducting exit interviews to gather feedback and insights from departing employees
- Assisting management with personnel issues and employee development to ensure a positive and productive work environment
- Assisting management with organizing and coordinating employee training workshops to enhance skills and knowledge
- Planning and executing company events to foster team building and camaraderie
- Protecting operations by keeping human resource information confidential and secure
- Providing horizontal support to other staff members of the recruitment team to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
Essential Qualifications
- Prior experience in recruitment, sourcing, screening, hiring, and talent acquisition
- International recruiting experience is a plus, but not required
- Passion for recruitment and human resources, with a strong understanding of the latest trends and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stay highly organized with great attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive HR information
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates and hiring managers
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST, with flexibility to accommodate different time zones and schedules
- Passion to build a startup and contribute to a dynamic, innovative, and fun work environment
- Outgoing and friendly disposition, with a strong ability to build rapport with candidates and colleagues
- Reliable workstation with a fast computer, microphone, and speakers, reliable internet, and power if working remotely
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with recruitment software and tools, such as applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human capital management (HCM) systems
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Ability to speak multiple languages, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances and differences
- Experience in planning and executing company events, with a focus on team building and employee engagement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
