Job Summary
The Retail Customer Service Associate will be the face of Blithequark, providing top-notch customer service, and showcasing our products and services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest options, and provide solutions
- Process customer orders, provide accurate pricing information, and handle returns and exchanges
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, and participate in ongoing training and development
- Adhere to Blithequark's policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; 6+ years of experience in customer service or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical demands: ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 55 pounds, and twist/bend at the waist and knees
- Technology skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar software applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment
- Knowledge of printing, signs, and design services
- Experience with POS systems, and payment processing
- Certification in customer service, sales, or a related field
