A Unique Opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst - IT
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst - IT to join our team on a remote basis. As a data-driven leader, you'll have a passion for data, analytics, and program execution, with the ability to dive into details and focus on process improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented team, drive business outcomes, and make a real impact on our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the digital performance of applications and systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing functionality
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty technology teams
- Create and lead data analysis work streams, identifying trends and patterns in data and transforming them into actionable insights
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting products to support data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with US and India Data Center teams to develop dashboards and track new platform updates and application releases
- Communicate and share updates with leadership, assembling regular presentations and reports
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science (Math, Statistics, or Economics), or a related quantitative field
- 5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, analytics, and data engineering, with 3 years in a Fortune 500 organization
- 3 years of experience in online business platform development
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire) and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with large datasets and social databases (SQL and Non-SQL)
- Strong critical thinking skills, using data to drive solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Aviation Management, or Operations Research
- Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, Power BI Data Expert Partner, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or related certifications
- 4 years of experience in a lead role
- Experience with Data Dog/App D/Kibana, enterprise monitoring systems, Palantir Foundry, or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Past airline or travel industry experience
- Experience with AWS - Redshift, QuickSight, Athena, or BigQuery
