**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Distributed Systems team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications and services. You will work closely with our engineers, product managers, and TPMs to drive cross-functional initiatives and contribute to the growth of our company.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop large-scale, distributed systems and applications using cloud-based technologies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
* Architect and build robust, flexible, and highly available cloud-based frameworks and services
* Drive cross-functional initiatives and work closely with engineers, product managers, and TPMs
* Contribute to the growth and development of arenaflex's OSS (Open-Source Software) initiatives
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of applications and services
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and software development
**Focus Areas**
* **Data Access Stage**: Develop and maintain an adaptable query interface that enables data considerations to operate at sub-millisecond latencies while allowing Netflix microservices to store, consume, and manage their data more efficiently.
* **Data Stage Framework**: Serve as a platform for our own data stages, providing a common foundation and tooling that enables Netflix to rapidly advance on giving cutting-edge data and analysis frameworks to the rest of the organization.
* **Data Development and Handling**: Offer a disconnected self-service cleared way item to empower diverse client personas across Netflix meet their low-latency data development and handling requirements; enable reflection throughout complex Continuous structures like Kafka and Flink; provide a Pattern-driven handling experience; invest in functional automation, reliability, and tools for predictable data quality.
* **Large Data Register**: Responsible for providing the cloud-based stage for distributed data handling at arenaflex. This group is key to batch data handling in Data Stage. It offers support for Flash, to ETL data into the Petabytes-scale data warehouse and access that data using Flash and Voila/TrinoDB. It also provides sub-second latency to a specific class of questions using Druid.
* **Large Data Arrangement**: Offers the stage for planning, organizing, and executing large data jobs and workflows in a self-serve way. These stages include central services that have all ETL and ML jobs running on Large Data Frameworks at arenaflex. These fully distributed frameworks are continually evolving for Netflix scale with best-in-class technology.
**Requirements**
* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale, distributed systems features or applications
* Proficiency in the design and development of peaceful web services
* Experienced in building and working with versatile, issue-open-minded, distributed frameworks
* Knowledgeable about Java or other object-oriented programming languages
* Multi-threading is a challenge that you are comfortable handling
* BS in Software Engineering or a related field
