About the Role
We are seeking experienced full stack software engineers to join our data structure teams at Blithequark. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale distributed systems, architecting and building robust, flexible, and highly scalable solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and technical program managers, to drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy large-scale distributed systems components or applications
- Architect and build robust, flexible, and highly scalable solutions using Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and technical program managers
- Contribute to open-source organizations and add to Blithequark's OSS
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems components or applications
- Proficiency in the design and development of RESTful web services
- Experience in building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems
- Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Ability to handle multi-threading and distributed systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or GCP
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
- Experience with data processing and analytics tools, such as Apache Kafka or Apache Spark
