Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Independent Mental Health Therapist to provide telehealth services to students in partner school districts across Rhode Island. As a key member of our care team, you will work collaboratively with school staff, families, and providers to deliver short-term care and contribute to program development. Key Responsibilities
As an Independent Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing telehealth services, including mental health assessments and therapy, to students in partner school districts.
- Collaborating with school staff, families, and providers to deliver short-term care (2-6 months) and contributing to program development.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Conducting regular progress assessments and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Communicating effectively with school staff, families, and providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participating in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Role Details
* Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (10-25 hours/week)
* Location: Fully remote
* Schedule: Choose your own hours, with a focus on availability during and after school hours (e.g., 3-8 pm ET)
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold an Independent Mental Health Therapist license in Rhode Island (LICSW, LCMHC, or LMFT).
- Have at least one year of experience providing teletherapy to teens and/or schools.
- Be proficient in evidence-based therapies, such as CBT and DBT.
- Have strong technological and collaboration skills, with experience working in a remote environment.
- Be available to work during and after school hours, with flexibility to adjust schedule as needed.
