Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Florida. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy equipment and facilities. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading healthcare company and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pharmacy equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to create and manage preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to perform complex repairs and maintenance tasks on automated equipment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory management.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Work effectively in a team environment to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in maintenance and repair principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have:
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in a related field, such as Maintenance Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase power, engines, and safety devices.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and related software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts, up to 80 pounds, as needed.
- Willingness to work at heights, up to 100 feet, and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, and climbing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and related software.
- Knowledge of robotics and automated systems.
- Experience with inventory management and control.
- Certifications in maintenance and repair, such as OSHA or EPA.
