**The Manager State & Higher Education Role**
As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, you'll join our Business Department and play a key role in executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Coaching and professionally developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management
* Increasing sales and establishing formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
* Broadening awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to SLED managed travel accounts
* Identifying candidates, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and increase sales in SLED managed travel accounts
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Field Government Account Managers, portfolio management, and other stakeholders
* Identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration with State, Local, and Higher Education institutions
* Develop and deliver training programs to ensure sales teams are equipped to meet the needs of SLED managed travel accounts
* Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
* Proven track record of driving business growth and increasing sales
* Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience in developing high-performing teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in the managed travel industry, with a strong understanding of SLED managed travel accounts
* Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
