**What You'll Be Doing**
As a Member/Customer Services Advocate, you'll be responsible for:
* **Providing exceptional service**: Deliver outstanding experiences to every caller, building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication
* **Applying problem-solving and critical thinking skills**: Research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations, utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution
* **Handling customer concerns**: Effectively handle customer concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution, while keeping records of all interactions and changes
* **Confidentially handling policy owner information**: Ensure compliance and communication standards are met, handling sensitive information with discretion and care
* **Collaborating with internal teams**: Work with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members
**Required Experience**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* **Minimum 2 years experience** in a customer service-related position, with a high value placed on the customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience preferred
* **Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude**: Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with accuracy
* **Technical aptitude**: Experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies desired
* **Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures**: Familiarity with various insurance products preferred
* **Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework**: Preferred but not required
* **High School Diploma**: Required; some college-level coursework preferred
* **Internet requirements**: Minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload, with the ability to support a VPN
