**Position Overview**
As a Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for processing child support payments in the SDU (State Disbursement Unit) system in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Your duties will include:
* Processing child support payments in the SDU system with accuracy and efficiency
* Maintaining a general understanding of policies and procedures
* Collecting, researching, organizing, and analyzing data
* Working as a team member, but also independently at times with limited direction
* Maintaining flexibility and/or the ability to work overtime as needed to meet stringent schedules and timelines
**Required Skills and Experience**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* At least one year prior experience in data entry or a related field
* Proficiency in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Strong interpersonal skills, using tact, patience, and courtesy
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
* Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet stringent schedules and timelines
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
* Experience working in a remote environment
* Familiarity with the SDU system or similar data entry systems
