Job Summary

As a Data Analyst and Scientist, you will be responsible for providing critical reporting and analytical insights to support the App Store business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, finance, and executive leadership, to drive business strategy and growth. Key Responsibilities
- Support the App Store business by providing essential reporting and analytical insights
- Instrument data requirements and analytic plans for current and to-be-released App Store features
- Devise strategies to improve monetization of games, in-app purchases, and subscriptions on the App Store
- Grow the Arcade business by understanding the impact of new content
- Establish core datasets with AMP engineering to scale insights to business managers
- Enhance the App Store business model and provide support for developer management
- Dive deep into large-scale data to discover trends and uncover key insights that will propel business strategy
- Build models to evaluate account migration/cannibalization and predict churn/retention/lifetime value
- Collaborate with business, marketing, finance, and executive teams to generate regular presentations for C-level executives
- Partner with other Apple teams on data gathering, data governance, evangelizing key performance indicators, and democratizing data
Essential Qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in the field or a related occupation
- Experience with database management (SQL)
- Proficiency in R or Python programming
- Experience with Tableau dashboard creation
- Knowledge of machine learning modeling and data analysis
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in the field or a related occupation
- Experience working with large-scale data sets and complex data systems
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and tools
- Experience with data visualization and communication
- Strong understanding of business operations and strategy
