Focus Areas in Data Infrastructure Teams
- Database Access Platform: Our team builds and operates a flexible query gateway that facilitates data abstractions to work at sub-millisecond latencies, enabling arenaflex microservices to store, consume, and manage their data more effectively.
- Data Platform Infrastructure: This team acts as a foundation for our internal data platforms, providing a common framework and tooling that allows arenaflex to rapidly simplify the delivery of cutting-edge data and analytics systems to the rest of the organization without building custom platforms for each new system.
- Data Ingestion and Processing: We offer a self-service cleared path product to enable varied client personas across arenaflex to meet their low-latency data ingestion and processing needs, supporting reflection across complex streaming structures like Kafka and Flink, and providing a pattern-driven processing experience.
- Big Data Figure: Responsible for providing the cloud-native platform for distributed data processing at arenaflex, this team is crucial to batch data processing in the Data Platform, offering support for Spark, ETL data into the Petabytes-scale data warehouse, and accessing that data using Spark and Voila/TrinoDB.
- Big Data Orchestration: Our team provides the platform for planning, scheduling, and executing big data jobs and workflows in a self-serve way, including essential services that have all ETL and ML jobs running on Big Data Systems at arenaflex.
Job Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a key role in supporting our data infrastructure teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Entering data into our systems with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Managing and maintaining large datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues
- Developing and implementing data management processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Providing excellent customer service, responding to data-related inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 2+ years of experience in data entry, data management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of data management principles, data quality, and data governance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and quality in your work
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data management tools and technologies, such as databases, data warehouses, and data governance platforms
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, Python, or SQL
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Certifications in data management, data science, or a related field
