Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- 2 years of prior medical customer service experience, with a strong understanding of pharmacy benefits and prescription claim processing
- Excellent phone etiquette and typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute and 500 keystrokes per hour
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet navigation, with the ability to review documents and utilize online resources
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to hear and translate customer needs into correct resolution steps
- Ability to navigate systems efficiently and effectively while speaking with customers, balancing quality with speed
- Ability to identify root causes of problems and use resources to solve them independently
- Reliability, including maintaining your schedule, consistently positive attitude, and professional behavior at all times
Preferred Qualifications
