- Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, providing solutions and alternatives as needed.
- Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, ensuring that all documents are processed accurately and promptly.
- Clarify orders as needed, communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to prevent errors and delays.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License.
- Previous experience in pharmacy, with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical operations and customer service principles.
- LTC pharmacy experience preferred, with knowledge of long-term care pharmacy practices and regulations.
- Knowledge of brand name and generic medications, including their uses, side effects, and interactions.
