About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the production team, ensuring the smooth execution of projects from pre-production to delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex schedules for executives and coordinate production calls with multiple internal and external teams
- Complete administrative tasks, including handling travel arrangements (domestic and international) and submitting expense reports for executives
- Coordinate document distribution and production information flow, with an emphasis on updating, maintaining, and supporting the use of Netflix tools and databases
- Review completion/delivery of production materials during pre-production, production, and wrap
- Participate in beta testing exclusive applications and provide valuable feedback on the end-user experience
- Collaborate closely with internal operations and technical teams and other production coordinators to streamline workflows across all applications and content groups
- Participate in startup and ongoing production meetings for a large number of productions
- Liaise with production partners to ensure they are on-boarded and trained on Netflix tools and workflows
- Assemble, track, and enter various production-related data across multiple platforms
- Assist in coordinating departmental activities (offsites, team-building activities, etc.) as well as events for both internal and external groups when requested
- Help coordinate the identification and curation of experienced, high-quality production staff and crew
- Research and outreach to potential filming locations and studios in the US and abroad
- Perform other duties as necessary to support productions and the department
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience working in production management, in the field, at a studio, or production company. Applicants will likely be at the Production Coordinator level or equivalent outside of Netflix
- Ability to handle a high-speed environment, concurrently supporting multiple projects in different stages of production (from development to production through delivery) and boldness to face challenges while breaking new ground
- Collaborative team player who works in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information
- Understanding of how to prioritize and respond appropriately
- Eagerly curious about all aspects of production
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Google Applications (including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail, and Drive)
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:
- Experience working on unscripted content productions
- Knowledge of Netflix tools and databases
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
