Job Summary
We are looking for a service-minded full-time Residential Lead Installation Tech to provide leadership for our installation crew and help our clients by removing old HVAC equipment and ductwork, replacing it with new equipment, and testing completed installs for proper setup at their homes in and around Franklin, IN. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset, including at least 3 years of residential on-call experience, physical ability to lift 60-80 pounds, and the ability to work in crawl spaces and attics.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove old HVAC equipment and ductwork from clients' homes
- Replace old equipment with new HVAC equipment and ductwork
- Test completed installs for proper setup and ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide leadership for the installation crew and mentor other installers
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve company goals and objectives
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of residential on-call experience in the HVAC industry
- Physical ability to lift 60-80 pounds and work in crawl spaces and attics
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or college degree preferred
