Job Overview
The Senior Analyst position at arenaflex is a critical role that will be responsible for driving the business side of the company's Flights + Travel product, including marketing, positioning, customer acquisition, operations, team management, and performance monitoring. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel partners based on mutual objectives and collaboration
- Negotiate rates, promotions, and override agreements with travel partners
- Monitor and track availability and price competitiveness of all travel inventory, as well as collaborate with the Pricing Analyst to optimize travel packages
- Own the Flights + Travel program, working closely with the Technology team to guide the development of the online customer experience
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to create buyer interest, determine appropriate positioning, audiences, and messaging of the product
- Conduct daily analysis of product performance, with the ability to understand what drove performance differences and come up with next steps to identify or resolve any performance degradation issues
- Aid in the development and execution of cooperative marketing plans with travel partners
- Work closely with the Technology team and provide input and prioritization feedback on upcoming enhancements
- Identify business challenges and opportunities for growth and seek solutions and meaningful initiatives by using research/data analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations
- Inform Business travel partnership strategy and identify potential partners to support the development, launch, and ongoing operations of new travel products
- Communicate to and educate the broader team regularly regarding industry landscape and customer experience/product trends
- Work closely with the frontline Customer Care team, listen to calls, gather feedback, help with improving their sales and services functionalities
- Other complex tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Three (3) years of analytical (or related) experience
- Ability to build strong relationships and earn the trust of others
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Open to presenting ideas before large groups, including leadership
- Ability to act as a meticulously organized, independent, and creative problem solver that meets aggressive deadlines by following processes/procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with project management
- Solid attention to detail
- Open to working cross-functionally with internal and external partners
- Available for occasional overnight travel (30%)
- Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the US
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably hospitality, business, or marketing
- Four (4) years of experience working in travel, hospitality, or other relevant industries
- Experience in account management, project management, partnerships, and sales and marketing roles
