About Our Digital Technology Team
arenaflex's Digital Technology team spans the globe and consists of diverse individuals working together with pioneering technology to build the best digital solutions. We're looking for a talented Senior Data Analyst - IT to join our team and help us drive business excellence through data-driven decision-making.
Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Senior Data Analyst - IT is a data-driven leader who has a passion for data, analysis, and program execution with the willingness to dive into details, evaluate the big picture, and focus on process improvement. The successful candidate will create and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty technology teams, with a good understanding of the business. This role requires a good communicator with a passion for finding the signal in the data and the ability to think of enhancements to applications and metrics to be measured.
- Figures out the digital performance of applications/frameworks affecting business functionality
- Understands the right questions to be asked on the platform data attached to Digital Channels
- Creates streamlined and comprehensive data analysis work streams
- Areas of focus will include, but are not limited to:
- Data Visualizations
- Application performance analysis
- Error patterns, top factors contributing to errors
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: recommendations for performance and greater agility
- Modeling and coding of data
- With space expertise, builds trusted data products including dashboards and reporting products to support Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty leadership that helps them make data-driven decisions on application performance
- Collaborates with US and India Data Center teams to develop dashboards
- Tracks new platform updates and application releases and cycles and learns the current application/frameworks to navigate system performance, dive into errors, response time, service logs, define new data collection and labeling, create universal dashboards
- Communicates and presents updates to leadership, along with assembling standard presentations
Essential Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree ideally in Engineering, Data Science (Math, Statistics, or Economics)
- 5+ years in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, analysis, and data engineering, with 3+ of those years in a Fortune 500 company
- 3+ years in e-commerce platform development
- Experience building presentations for stakeholders and leaders and engaging with all levels of management
- Proven ability to create a vision, inspire the team towards that vision, and offer support to achieve it
- Extensive experience with BI run boarding (e.g., PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire, etc.) to create meaningful, rich dashboards
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience analyzing e-commerce platforms for Web, Mobile Application, Loyalty, and Personalization
- Ability to study/understand business needs, design data/technology metrics that connect business processes with quantifiable platform results, Grasp key metric/Objective Settings
- Strong SQL skills
- Solid problem-solving skills, using data to handle issues
- Remarkable writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of an interview is expected to meet job qualification
- Dependable, reliable attendance is a fundamental qualification of the position
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will also have:
- A Graduate degree ideally in Computer Science, Aviation Management, or Operations Research
- Computer Science, Information Systems, Aviation Management, or related degree, Operations Research, MBA
- Google Data Analysis Professional Certification, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analysis, Enterprise Data Warehouse certifications, Palantir, Client-Side performance metrics tools e.g. Quantum Metrics
- 4+ years in a lead role
- Experience with Data Dog /App D/Kibana is a significant upside
- Experience with Enterprise monitoring systems is a plus
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Past airline or travel industry experience is a plus
- Experience with AWS - Redshift, QuickSight, Athena
- Experience with BigQuery
- Continuous integration and delivery using Agile methodologies
- Regression analysis on performance predictions, exp. in multiple regression techniques
