Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
- Providing technical support to content and external teams in regards to the use of content tools
- Creating reference materials and providing training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset
- Solving and debugging possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users
- Escalating more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team and working with production to track these issues in JIRA
- Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams
- Partnering with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality
- Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion
- Exemplifying reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience supporting a live service or tool environment
- Unity 3D game and tool development experience
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software
- iOS and Android mobile development experience
- 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:
- Experience with C# code and the ability to read and understand it
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including working with external partners
- A positive attitude and the ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously
