About the Role
As a Traveling Customer Trainer at blithequark, you'll embark on an exciting journey, traveling to various automotive dealerships to install, convert, and train key personnel on our software solutions. This role demands exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, as you'll work closely with dealership management to understand their unique needs and tailor our system to meet those requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites (approximately 80% of the time) to install and convert our software, working individually and as part of a team.
- Meet with dealership management to understand their specific needs and customize our system to meet those requirements.
- Train key dealership personnel on how to effectively utilize our software solutions.
- Provide ongoing support to current customers, prepare for future trips, and conduct follow-ups with recently installed customers from your home office.
- Utilize your company-provided cell phone and laptop to stay connected and productive while working remotely.
Comprehensive Training Program
At blithequark, we understand that success in this role requires thorough training and preparation. Our comprehensive training program lasts approximately 2-3 months and includes:
- Department observations to gain a deeper understanding of our organization and processes.
- Classroom instruction, covering product training and automotive dealership operations.
- On-the-job training with a mentor, allowing you to shadow experienced representatives and gain hands-on experience.
- Focused product training, where you'll become an expert in a specific area of our software.
- Opportunities to visit car dealerships that already utilize our solutions, giving you a firsthand look at our software in action.
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel as a Traveling Customer Trainer at blithequark, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in a relevant field.
- The ability to travel 80% of the time, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- An outgoing, friendly personality, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A reliable home internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
- A clean driving record, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
