I’m relaunching a story-driven toy brand rooted in belonging, imagination, and heart — all while working full-time on the road with a touring Broadway show.
Because of that, I’m looking for someone who can help keep the behind-the-scenes of the business running smoothly while I focus on building the world, the stories, and the magic.

About the Role
This is a fractional, part-time role that blends operations and finance in a very real, very human way.
You won’t be stepping into a rigid system — you’ll help build the systems from the ground up for a pre-revenue startup, in a way that’s simple, flexible, and actually usable for a founder who’s constantly on the move.
A big part of this role is helping me see what’s going on at a glance, without digging through spreadsheets or complex reports.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operations & Organization
You’ll help keep things moving by:
Tracking projects and priorities - specifically Children’s book, toy development and production, including full launch preparation for mid 2026
Organizing workflows and timelines
Creating simple, repeatable systems
Making sure nothing falls through the cracks
Turning ideas into action
You’ll be working alongside the Founder and Marketing Manager to achieve strategic outcomes.
You’re the person who helps momentum turn into progress.
Finance Support (Built From the Ground Up)
You’ll help build simple, accessible financial systems that are easy to check and easy to understand.
That includes (but is not limited to):
Tracking income and expenses
Creating clear monthly snapshots
Monitoring cash flow and runway
Light forecasting
Setting things up so I can quickly check in from my phone or laptop while traveling — no spreadsheets required, apps preferred
A big part of this role is helping answer:
Can we move forward with this?
Is now the right time?
Do we need to pause or adjust?
You’ll help bring clarity to those decisions so we move forward with confidence.
