Immediate start to complete a book that is 70% developed and write the content for workbook. Up to a maximum of 10,000 additional words. Genre is non-fiction, self-help. The budget for this project is $300.
Tasks include:
- Sharpen the introduction and chapter 1 to really draw out the unique angle of the book
- Develop a new epilogue type chapter at the end of the book covering more of the theory and origins of the models used in the book
- Small enhancements to each chapter in the book for readability
- Better linking of the chapters to ensure good flow and cohesion
- Remove repetition (unless repetition necessary and then highlight why)
- Editing tasks, such as humanizing, ensuring phrases make sense
- Fact checking of research and references, and plagarism check
This book is the first in a series. Thus, I am looking to build a relationship with a non-fiction ghostwriter who can research and produce high-quality writing within the self-help genre. I am developing a series of between 4 and 6 books each with an accompanying workbook. I would provide the high-level outline and this would need to be fleshed out a bit to agree scope of book. The budget for each book and workbook together will be $1000.
Thus, we could use the first book to see if we can develop a collaborative working relationship.
