Role Overview We are hiring a Global Due Diligence & Strategic Risk Analyst to support international investigations and governance risk assessments related to overseas operations, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, disciplined research methodologies, and the ability to convert complex information into clear and actionable reporting. Based in Los Angeles, the Analyst will contribute to due diligence reports, geopolitical risk briefs, and governance screening exercises—particularly in the context of emerging markets, cross-border investments, and sensitive regulatory environments. The position involves close collaboration with an international research team and requires a high standard of analytical integrity and reporting precision. You will play a central role in translating open-source intelligence, regulatory developments, and stakeholder insights into structured recommendations for senior decision-makers. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth research on corporations, stakeholders, and geopolitical developments to identify operational, commercial, and reputational risks Monitor regulatory changes and evolving corporate governance expectations across priority markets, including Japan, Australia, and emerging regions Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports, executive briefings, and analytical memoranda for senior leadership Apply OSINT methodologies and cross-source validation techniques to ensure research accuracy and credibility Support targeted stakeholder interviews, institutional outreach, and field-based research initiatives when required Contribute to governance reviews, pre-engagement screenings, and institutional risk mapping for international projects Maintain high reporting standards with clear documentation of sources, analytical assumptions, and conclusions Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher; excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate due diligence, intelligence research, strategic risk advisory, or geopolitical analysis Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks, stewardship principles, and regulatory compliance environments Demonstrated capability in researching geopolitical dynamics, security trends, and commercial risk identification in emerging markets Proficiency with OSINT tools and research methodologies, with curiosity to explore advanced data sources Strong analytical writing skills and ability to communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders Existing professional network within relevant industries, financial institutions, or government agencies is a plus Application Instructions Please submit your CV and a short letter of interest outlining your relevant experience and motivation.
