We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Risk Consultant to join our Zurich Resilience Solutions Workforce Strategies Practice team. About the Role
This role is available part-time, job-share, or full-time, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and accommodating the needs of our employees. As a Health and Safety Risk Consultant, you will deliver expert risk consultancy services to our customers, develop our risk consultancy business and customer proposition, and contribute to the growth of fee income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Health and Safety risk consultancy services to customers, providing expert advice and guidance on risk management and mitigation.
- Develop and support relationships with a significant portfolio of major customers, improving their risk profiles and providing best practice advice.
- Produce high-quality professional reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to customers.
- Complete research into technical areas and provide up-to-date information for colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.
- Support and enhance our Group Underwriting and customer propositions, contributing to the growth of our business.
- Deliver training courses and presentations to customers and stakeholders, promoting best practice risk management and Zurich's expertise.
- Develop commercial acumen and business development skills, identifying opportunities to support customers and grow fee income.
- Market our risk consultancy service through events, social media campaigns, and industry events, promoting Zurich's expertise and capabilities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, with proven practical hands-on experience in Health and Safety risk management.
- CMIOSH, CIRM, or other equivalent professional qualifications, with evidence of continued professional development.
- Experience as a Health and Safety Consultant, with a strong track record of delivering expert risk consultancy services.
- Business development skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and grow fee income.
- Knowledge of current and emerging liability-related risks, as well as relevant legislation and its application in an occupational environment.
- Awareness of the principles and practices of the insurance industry, relevant to the role.
- Advanced communication skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- An enquiring mind, with the ability to analyze complex risks and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
