We are a payments technology company where Salesforce is central to sales, partnership, and marketing, and reporting. We’re replacing a departing admin and need dependable day-to-day coverage with capacity to support our day to day operations and push small and medium projects across the finish line.
Engagement
Type: Hourly, part-time contractor
Hours: ~10 hrs/week to start (may increase), with 2–4 hrs/day overlap with MT (UTC-6/-7)
Start: Immediately; multi-month ongoing. Projected 2-4 months.
Tools: Sales Cloud, Pardot/MCAE, Reports/Dashboards, Flow, Data Loader, Sandbox, Zapier
Core Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Admin Support (primary need)
Automation & Flow: create/fix flows, assignment rules, validation rules, email alerts, approval processes
User management (roles, profiles, permission sets), login/access issues, SSO troubleshooting
Record-level help: Leads/Accounts/Contacts/Opportunities/Campaigns, Activities, Tasks
Reporting & Dashboards: build/maintain executive and team views; fix broken filters, row-level formulas, summary formulas, joined reports
Data hygiene, deduping, and uploads: (Leads/Contacts/Accounts), imports/exports with Data Loader, field mapping
Page layout/Lightning App/compact layout updates; guidance on UX best practices
Marketing ops support: Pardot/MCAE sync issues, Campaign Member Statuses, UTM & lead-source management, list uploads
Light/Medium Projects (as bandwidth allows)
Lead routing & scoring tune-ups; funnel instrumentation
Opportunity process updates (new stages, reasons, SLA logic, forecast categories)
Campaign architecture for events/tradeshows and multi-touch reporting
Small data projects (picklist rationalization, global value sets, archival strategy)
Understand our instance, including custom integrations and how our data flows
Qualifications
3+ years as a Salesforce Admin in a B2B environment
Strong Flow skills (no-code automation), reporting mastery, Data Loader, dedupe best practices
Hands-on with Pardot/MCAE (sync, CM statuses, segmentation)
Clear communicator; mostly written, crisp admin notes and change logs, ability to work in live video meetings as needed for hands-on support
Nice-to-Haves
Certificates: Salesforce Administrator required, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist, Advanced Admin a plus
Familiarity with Zapier and an integrated instance
Ways of Working
Daily async in Slack; weekly touchpoint on Meet
Document every change (who/what/why), including rollback notes
Sign NDA; handle PII securely; follow our data-handling policy
