The IT Technician role involves providing technical support for Windows and Mac operating systems, troubleshooting issues, and assisting clients with hardware and software problems. Responsibilities - Answering incoming calls from users and logging tickets in the ticketing system - Providing troubleshooting and support for both Windows and Mac operating systems, including Microsoft 365 products - Delivering remote technical support to clients to resolve hardware and software issues promptly and effectively - Conducting thorough system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to identify root causes and prevent future issues - Assisting with email issues and password resets - Working closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate deliverables, timelines, and technical requirements - Documenting and maintaining accurate records of client interactions, technical solutions, and configurations for future reference Skills - Strong expertise in configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting various hardware and software solutions - Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and macOS - Knowledge of networking protocols - Familiarity with cloud technologies - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Outstanding problem-solving skills - Keen attention to detail - Customer-focused mindset - Ability to build strong client relationships - Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively - Willingness to travel to client sites as needed Benefits - Unlimited vacation - Sick leave - Access to our Employee Assistance Program Company Overview - Next Perimeter is an IT services provider purpose-built for cloud-first SMBs.
