This is a remote role, but eligible candidates must reside in one of the following states: IN, MI, IL, OH, KY, TN, MN, MA, FL, GA, PA As part of our selection process, we’ll ask candidates to share examples of previous work (e.g., content, campaigns, or sales materials) to better understand their approach and execution. Up to 20% travel can be expected. The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications, while our internal pay band for this role extends up to $100,000. Pathfinders, a full-service integrated marketing agency, is seeking a Marketing Lead who can bring clarity, momentum, and ownership to how we show up as a brand. In this role, you won’t just support marketing efforts; you’ll help shape how our story is told, translate strategy into execution, and ensure our work connects with the audiences we’re trying to reach. You’ll operate across planning, content, campaigns, and systems, building and executing marketing efforts that support both brand visibility and business growth. This includes creating high-quality content, developing campaigns, maintaining marketing systems, and supporting sales efforts through materials like case studies, decks, and proposals. You’ll partner closely with leadership, creative, digital, and growth teams to ensure our marketing is consistent, effective, and aligned with where we’re going. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys owning the work from start to finish. You’re comfortable building and publishing content yourself, working inside tools like HubSpot or WordPress, and stepping back to evaluate what’s working and what needs to change. You bring structure to ambiguity, take initiative without waiting for direction, and balance creativity with clear, audience-focused thinking. What you will do, in greater detail: Marketing Campaign Planning and Execution - Own annual and quarterly planning for marketing campaigns and events. - Build and manage campaigns end to end, maintaining an editorial calendar that connects marketing activity to business and growth goals. - Collaborate with the Creative Services department to deliver high-quality materials.   Content Production - Write, design, and create marketing content including LinkedIn posts, case studies, emails, blogs, and presentations. - Publish and produce work independently using HubSpot, WordPress, and presentation tools. - Collaborate with the Creative Services department for higher-production deliverables such as video, photography, or designed materials. Growth Marketing - Develop and maintain sales enablement tools including presentations/decks, RFP responses, one-pagers, and case studies. - Identify and package proof points that strengthen credibility and differentiation. - Ensure the agency's story and positioning are clearly represented across pursuits and client presentations.   Marketing Tool Ownership - Manage and maintain HubSpot campaigns, workflows, contact lists, and dashboards. - Post and update website content, landing pages, and campaign materials. - Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance. - Maintain organized content libraries, templates, and shared drives. - Recommend and implement improvements to tools and workflows that increase efficiency and quality.   Brand & Marketing Process Ownership - Document marketing processes and best practices to create repeatable systems. - Collaborate with Client Service and Creative teams to capture success stories. - Uphold brand and messaging consistency across all channels. - Stay informed on marketing and industry trends and bring forward ideas that strengthen the agency's market position. Additional job functions - Attend all applicable required employee orientation, training, department quarterly meetings, and all-agency summits at PF headquarters. Overnight/weekend travel will be required for certain agency events, up to 20% travel can be expected. - Perform additional duties as assigned What we’d like to see in a strong candidate: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - 5-8+ years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably within an agency or professional services environment. - Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, and traditional channels. - Proven ability to write, design, and produce marketing materials independently. - Hands-on experience managing and reporting campaigns through HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics, and social platforms. - Track record of supporting sales or business development through marketing initiatives and enablement tools. - Strong project management and organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple priorities at once. - Familiarity with financial services or other regulated industries is a plus but not required. - HubSpot or Google Analytics certifications preferred. - Takes ownership of outcomes and demonstrates strong personal accountability - Operates with curiosity, always asking how work could be done smarter or more effectively - Works independently with limited direction while keeping others informed and aligned - Brings structure and organization to projects; manages competing priorities calmly - Collaborates naturally across functions; values partnership and open communication - Demonstrates resourcefulness and problem-solving when faced with ambiguity or constraints. - Shows resilience and composure under pressure; stays solutions-focused What's in it for you?  At Pathfinders, we’ve built an environment where people can do meaningful work without burning out or getting lost in the process.
