The Media Buying Associate will be responsible for executing high-impact campaigns, negotiating cost-effective media buys, and fostering partnerships with clients and media vendors. Responsibilities - Secure cost-effective delivery across TV, OOH/DOOH, Radio, and CTV without compromising on quality or brand safety - Treat media vendors as partners, not just "sellers." - Act as the client's budget guardian - Manage contracts, actuals, and revisions with 100% accuracy and transparency - Prioritize local media opportunities and diverse Canadian perspectives to ensure campaigns resonate in our unique market - Use nLogic and Excel to prove value Skills - 1-3 years of media buying (TV/Radio/CTV) in the Canadian market - Proficiency in MediaOean, DDS/Prisma, nLogic, and the standard Google and MS Office suite - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Media, Marketing, or a related field - A track record of success driven by critical thinking and a desire to challenge industry assumptions - Understanding of how the dollars flow and what great can be - You believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is looking - Understanding of the Canadian media landscape and the importance of supporting domestic journalism and platforms - Value collaboration over ego - Math-proficient, detail-oriented, and obsessed with eliminating waste in media spend - Understanding of compliance and quality Benefits - Hybrid Work: A perfect balance with 3 days in the office for team connection and 2 days remote. - Generous Time Off: 3 weeks of annual vacation + the agency is closed during the Holiday season. - "Human" Days: All statutory holidays doubled + 5 human days to take care of yourself + 1 volunteer day to give back to the community. - Comprehensive Health: Group insurance plan (life, medication, dental, paramedical, travel...) with 3 coverage options. - Active Well-Being: $250 per year reimbursed for your physical activities or the purchase of home fitness equipment. - Green Transportation: Discounts on Bike share Company Overview - Glassroom is an independent media agency that provides digital marketing and media strategy services.
