Our network of U.S. based physicians helps train and evaluate AI systems by labeling, reviewing, and validating real-world medical data across text, imaging, and clinical scenarios. The Opportunity We are actively growing our Medical Consultant Network and are looking to connect with U.S.- licensed MDs across targeted specialties who are interested in contributing their expertise to medical AI. This is a flexible, remote consulting opportunity — not a traditional job — where you may be invited to participate in projects that match your background, availability, and interests. What You May Work On Depending on your specialty and project availability, work may include: • Reviewing and labeling medical text, images, or clinical cases • Interpreting medical imaging (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, pathology slides) • Evaluating clinical reasoning or diagnostic accuracy • Providing expert review, quality checks, or feedback on AI outputs • Helping define guidelines, taxonomies, or gold standards for medical data • Evaluating AI Health LLM models — assessing the accuracy, safety, clinical relevance, and potential biases of large language models deployed in healthcare settings Projects range from quick, flexible tasks to more involved, project-based engagements. Who This Is For This opportunity is open to licensed MDs in the following specialties: • Primary Care • Internal Medicine • Family Medicine • Emergency Medicine • Hospitalists Degree Requirement: This position is open to MDs only. DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree holders are not eligible. Licensure: Applicants must hold a valid, active medical license in the United States International medical graduates are welcome if currently licensed to practice in the U.S. or Canada. You do not need prior AI or data annotation experience — training is provided where required. Background Check Requirement All selected Medical Consultants are required to complete a standard background check prior to project onboarding. This ensures the integrity and compliance of our consultant network and the data programs we support. How Selection Works • You submit your background and areas of expertise • Centaur reviews profiles based on project needs • When a matching project arises, selected consultants are invited to participate • Selection is based on specialty fit, licensure, availability, and project requirements Not being selected for one project does not affect eligibility for future work.
