Job Description:
• Drive new business growth by selling Wells Fargo merchant products and payment solutions to diverse, complex small‑business clients
• Partner closely with Small Business Managers and LOB stakeholders to support an assigned territory
• Provide consultative, solutions‑based selling, including software integrations, standalone terminals, eCommerce, and mobile payment capabilities
• Identify and prospect new opportunities, manage a strong sales pipeline, and execute territory development strategies
• Apply independent judgment to resolve complex client situations while navigating policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with internal partners, internal/external customers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless client implementation and long‑term success
Requirements:
• 2+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience
• Experience selling merchant services in a large bank or major financial institution
• Proven prospecting success, including client outreach, lead conversion, and pipeline management
• Strong communication skills and business acumen
• Business-to-business (B2B) sales background
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong prospecting, influence, and relationship-building skills
• Confident presentation skills with diverse client and stakeholder groups
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Strong organizational skills, including proficiency with CRM systems
