Job Description
We are seeking a full-time, experienced Senior Staff Accountant to support and manage accounting operations and financial reporting in a fully remote capacity.
This role is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data, overseeing the month-end close process, and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
Experience in healthcare, community health, or similarly regulated environments is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Manage general accountingfunctions, including full-charge bookkeeping through month-end close
• Prepare and analyzefinancial statements, reports, and supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with GAAPand internal accounting policies
• Analyze financial data,identify trends, and resolve variances
• Oversee preparation ofinternal and external financial reports
• Support audits and respondto financial inquiries
• Maintain accurate accountingrecords and improve accounting processes
• Collaborate with internalteams on budgeting and financial reporting needs
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary: $57,203 – $85,805per year (DOE)

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of generalaccounting experience, including full-charge bookkeeping and financialstatement preparation
• Expert knowledge ofaccounting principles and practices
• Strong written and verbalcommunication skills in English
• Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice, with advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, graphs, data analysis)
• Experience with accountingsoftware; Peachtree and NextGen preferred
• Computer literacy withstrong attention to detail
• Knowledge of communityhealth centers or healthcare organizations preferred
• Experience with reportwriter software, programming, and Adobe Standard strongly preferred
