Position: Data Analyst
Location: Eagan, MN (100% Remote)
Duration: 3 months Contract with possibility to extension
Pay Rate: $50/hr. On W2(AI)
Responsibilities:
• Curate, maintain, and improve metadata within the Enterprise Architecture Repository (ServiceNow EA), ensuring alignment with architecture frameworks, taxonomies, and governance standards.
• Partner with Enterprise Architects and stakeholders to collect, validate, and structure data related to applications, technologies, capabilities, and business processes.
• Conduct interviews and facilitate surveys with application owners and support teams to gather architecture metadata.
• Design and implement repeatable methods for collecting and validating application and technology data.
• Develop and manage data imports and exports between ServiceNow EA and other systems (e.g., Excel, Access).
• Review existing architecture data and reports to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data collection and updates.
• Ability to quickly surface enhanced data for consumption.
• Ability to manage and capture ad hoc and formal data and add to repositories.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data governance, or information management.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts, frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), or tools.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with ServiceNow, especially the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) or Enterprise Architecture modules.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured data sets.
• Ability to work with Prime tools:
• Microsoft Suite: Access, Excel, & Visio
• Visualization & Reporting: Power BI
• Collaboration and distribution using SharePoint & Teams
• Automation tools: Power Automate, PowerShell, and .NET libraries
• SQL Server
• Ability to translate technical data into business-relevant insights.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with metadata management, data stewardship, or architecture modeling tools (e.g., LeanIX, ADOIT, Sparx EA).
• 5+ years of experience in business or data analysis, preferably supporting internal IT or architecture initiatives.
• Experience working on IT-led projects where IT is both the customer and executor.
