We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Online Instructor to teach Computer Science courses in a remote setting. This part-time position offers a competitive salary of $2,295 per 3-hour credit course taught and the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team of educators.
About the Role:
- Teach Computer Science courses in an online setting, utilizing innovative teaching methods and technologies to engage students and promote learning
- Develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and instructional materials to ensure academic excellence and relevance
- Provide support and guidance to students, responding to inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives, sharing best practices and expertise to enhance the overall quality of education
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science or a related field
- Previous online teaching experience preferred, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and online pedagogy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting
