Join our unique outdoor nature and play based preschool. We are looking for an assistant to work along side others Monday through Friday for this school year. 20-25 hours per week, flexible within a standard school day timeframe, starting immediately.
We use the outdoors to support the love and wonder of nature!
Our team is skilled in early childhood education and environmental education and we seek an assistant with interests in the outdoors and being with young children. The days consist of rich play opportunities to explore and question. Strong emphases on social
emotional growth and the arts, as well as cognitive and physical growth for children aged 3-5 years.

Qualifications:
CPR certification is ideal, though we will provide the CPR training if needed, as well as the DHHS required fingerprinting clearance.
Monthly additional state grant stipend income (amount of stipend is dictated by your level on Maine Roads to Quality).
The play-based curriculum and nature education at Appletree is all about valuing wonder!
