Internship Details
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our team to drive a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing and assisting in the timely collection, validation, and root cause analysis of data elements
- Helping to create and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders
- Assisting in addressing critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing analytical answers to support senior leadership decision-making
- Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding
- Helping to develop and distribute specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the need for data requirements
- Identifying anomalies in processes through reviews/audits and communicating findings to the team
- Assessing the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors
- Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
- May perform other job duties as directed by the Team Lead
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Utilizing data to develop, present, and make recommendations for innovative ideas and projects
- Performing critical analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process improvements
- Supporting organizational goals, including maintaining low costs, modernizing operations, and improving compliance
- Contributing to the development of a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within the Quality Control department
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this internship, you must:
- Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
- Have a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Have experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase (preferred)
- Be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Be able to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks
- Have a keen attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
