Our client is one of the newly established market maker for crypto exchange. They are actively looking for a quantitative trader to support the team with relevant trading activities during U.S. core trading hours.
As a Quantitative Trader specializing in Market Making, you will be responsible for developing and improving high-frequency trading strategies, constructing tick-level factors, and enhancing our algorithmic trading models. You will work closely with researchers, developers, and traders to create robust market-making algorithms and capitalize on opportunities in the fast-paced world of cryptocurrency markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Making & Trading Strategy Development:
• Design, implement, and optimize market-making strategies across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Monitor and adjust strategies to react to changing market conditions and ensure profitability.
Algorithm Development:
• Proficiently write and improve high-performance algorithms in Python.
• Create and implement high-frequency trading models based on tick-level data.
• Construct and refine market factors (order flow, price movement, liquidity, etc.) for high-frequency trading strategies.
Backtesting and Validation:
• Design and implement backtests to validate the performance of trading strategies.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze historical data and optimize strategy parameters.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or above in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong experience in market making within cryptocurrency or traditional financial markets.
• Solid experience in backtesting and optimizing trading strategies using tick-level data.
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, including liquidity, order book dynamics, volatility, and arbitrage opportunities.
• Knowledge of market microstructure and trading algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Ability to handle stress and work under pressure in a competitive environment.
• Location: Remote (US-based highly preferred).
