Position Summary Janus Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director of Operations to oversee and support the performance of assigned hotel properties. This leadership role works closely with General Managers and the Executive Management Team to drive revenue, profitability, brand compliance, and guest satisfaction while developing strong, effective hotel teams. The ideal candidate is a proven hotel leader with deep operational expertise, strong financial acumen, and the ability to guide multiple properties in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities - Provide leadership, training, coaching, and ongoing support to General Managers and hotel teams at assigned properties - Ensure budgeted revenue, house profit, and operational goals are achieved while maintaining all applicable brand standards - Monitor quality assurance scores, guest feedback, and performance metrics; communicate expectations and implement corrective action or training as needed - Act as a liaison between hotel properties and the Janus Hotels & Resorts corporate team, fostering strong, positive working relationships - Assist with hotel pre‑opening, acquisitions, and transitions as directed - Serve as acting General Manager at properties experiencing GM turnover until a permanent leader is appointed - Collaborate with the Executive Management Team on strategic initiatives and special projects - Complete projects by establishing objectives, setting priorities, managing timelines, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes - Evaluate operational processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and financial performance - Participate in the Annual Business Plan and Budget development process, as well as quarterly performance reviews - Support sales efforts and revenue initiatives to maximize market positioning and performance Required Skills & Experience - Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Hotel General Manager, Area Manager, or Regional Director of Operations - Prior Marriott, Hilton, or IHG experience required - Strong operational knowledge across all hotel departments, including sales and revenue management - Highly energetic, motivated, and results‑driven leader - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer and client focus - Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence outcomes, and manage multiple priorities - Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S. as business requires - Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively - Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organizational skills - Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment - Excellent written communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Outlook - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred Compensation & Benefits - Salary commensurate with experience - Full benefits package available after 90 days of employment - Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding hospitality management company
