ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a skilled 2D Character Animator experienced in Adobe Animate to bring an established animated character to life. This role focuses strictly on animation - no character design or background creation required. You will be working with a pre-existing character and must carefully review previous animations to accurately replicate the character’s established body language, movement style, and personality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Animate a pre-existing 2D character in Adobe Animate
• Study and match established character body language and movement patterns
• Follow detailed character animation guidelines
• Maintain consistency with previous animations
• Deliver smooth, expressive character performances
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Animate
• Experience animating established characters
• Ability to closely imitate existing animation style and body mechanics
• Strong understanding of timing, weight, and expressive character motion
• Ability to follow creative direction and guidelines precisely
NICE TO HAVE
• Portfolio showcasing character animation work
• Experience matching an existing animated series or brand style
• Understanding of character consistency in episodic or branded content

CONTRACT DETAILS
• This is a temporary contract position. Candidates who excel may be considered for future gigs and ongoing opportunities. We are currently working 100% remote for all post production. Must be able to have flexible scheduling to accommodate occasional late nights and possible weekend work.
