Join Our Team as a Help Desk Representative and Provide Exceptional IT Support
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Help Desk Representative to join our team, providing top-notch IT support to our small business clients during late-night hours. As a part-time, contract position with opportunities for long-term hire, you will have the chance to make a significant impact while enjoying a flexible schedule.
Position Overview:
- Location: Remote (must be local to Franklin, TN area for occasional in-office training and collaboration)
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $25 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with occasional Sunday work (approximately 6 hours)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote help desk support, handling incoming support requests and resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with password resets, troubleshooting basic networking issues, and supporting Microsoft 365 environments (e.g., email, OneDrive, Teams)
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members, ensuring seamless resolution and minimal downtime
- Track and document customer issues in a ticketing system, maintaining accurate records and facilitating continuous improvement
- Collaborate with team members during training and problem resolution, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall team performance
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a help desk or IT support role, with a strong foundation in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (email, Teams, OneDrive) and basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Must be local to Franklin, TN, or nearby for occasional office visits and collaboration
