Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Black Desert Resort is a growing Hospitality Management Company seeking a Centralized Accounts Payable Specialist. This role involves managing accounts payable responsibilities such as invoice processing, data entry, and monthly close for multiple entities, while also participating in special projects related to financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and organizing invoices via multiple sources
- GL coding and review
- Data entry
- Check printing/payment processing
- Statement reconciliation
- Reporting
- Month-end closing processes
- Special AP projects, including, but not limited to:
- Pre-opening and transition invoice processing for new properties
- Balance sheet reconciliation and research
- AP tasks for several entities are managed centrally, and therefore this position will be from the home office and not at the physical location of the entity
Skills
- High School Graduate
- Accounting/Finance experience, must have knowledge of AP processing
- Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal
- Able to provide and follow professional communication and directions and work independently
- Able to prioritize; work must be timely and accurate
- Proficient with 10 Key
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
- Extended time working at a computer and sitting at a desk
- General Ledger experience
- Oracle, HIA, and Craftable experience
