Key Responsibilities
- Respond to client requests and inquiries via phone, chat, and email, providing timely and effective solutions to their problems.
- Demonstrate high standards for quality service, ensuring that all client interactions are positive and productive.
- Stay up-to-date with product and procedural knowledge, assessing industry trends to provide informed support to clients.
- Work in tandem with the quality and training team to self-manage performance expectations and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain open communication lines with Team Leads, Quality Advocates, and Trainers to ensure seamless support and personal development.
- Maintain business acumen, courtesy, and professionalism when dealing with all client contacts.
- Accurately document all client interactions in our proprietary call center database (CSC).
- Be punctual and adhere to all schedules and deadlines, both scheduled and special projects.
- Communicate proactively and professionally with customers across multiple channels, including phone, chat, and email.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Remote Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you'll need:
- 2-3 years of experience in a business or professional environment, preferably in the service industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with clear diction, tone, and knowledge of proper grammar.
- A positive outlook and enthusiastic attitude, with a strong desire to be helpful and take ownership of customer situations.
- The ability to multitask by reading, typing, and navigating through applications while speaking to customers.
- A history of good attendance and punctuality, with a commitment to being dependable and consistent.
- Prior customer service or troubleshooting experience is preferred, but not required.

Training and Schedule
Our training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed as a Remote Customer Service Specialist. The training will commence on September 16, 2024, and will run for 12 days, between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm EST. Attendance is mandatory at 100%.
Once you've completed training, you'll work a standard 8-hour shift, with the possibility of working weekends as needed. Schedules cannot be negotiated, and you'll be required to be available for any 8-hour shift between 3:00 pm and 2:00 am EST.
Technical Requirements
To work as a Remote Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you'll need to meet our technical requirements, including:
- A Windows-based computer (Macbooks and Chromebooks are not compatible).
- A minimum CPU speed of Dual Core 1.2 GHz or better.
- At least 8 GB of RAM.
- Windows 10 Professional operating system.
- Dual monitors with a minimum screen resolution of 1280 x 1024.
- A hard-wired internet connection with a minimum download speed of 45 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
