About the Role

As a Salesforce Architect at Delta Airlines, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to drive business growth and customer engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet our needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), providing guidance, automation, and data support for SFMC to drive Delta's enterprise performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to design and develop data extensions, suppression lists, automations, journeys, imports, and data processing activities.
• Ensure that Salesforce's best practices are followed for utilizing the platform while maintaining secure and stable environments.
• Assist Delta in continuously improving by identifying, creating, and enhancing internal systems and processes to drive business objectives, marketing requests, or industry trends.
• Guarantee that teams are meeting and maintaining data protection processes and defend to ensure that marketing activities remain CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliant.
• Partner with various teams to educate on how data is organized and how to best utilize it, ensuring that email data is properly managed in dashboards and other reporting systems.
• Recommend and develop documentation on best practices, business processes, data modeling, automation, and expert data maintenance that can be managed by super users.

What You Bring to the Role

To succeed as a Salesforce Architect at Delta Airlines, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field, and five years of marketing automation experience, or related.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field, and three years of marketing automation experience, or related.
• Experience with designing, implementing, and managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions;
• Experience with data modeling, data processing, and data analysis using Salesforce and other tools;
• Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, WSProxy, and development of custom languages used in marketing cloud, SQL, and AMPScript;
• Experience with data integration, segmentation, and ETL using various tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other marketing automation platforms;
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts;
• Experience with Informatica, Datorama, or other data integration tools;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
