In this role, you will lead complex Forensic Electrical Engineering projects and serve as a testifying expert in claims, arbitration, and litigation.
Responsibilities
• Analyze electrical systems, construction issues, and deficiencies
• Develop expert opinions and identify responsible parties
• Create comprehensive forensic engineering reports
• Serve as a lead testifying expert in claims, arbitration, and litigation
Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 3+ years of forensic engineering experience, including litigation support and drafting expert reports
• Experience as a testifying expert witness in court
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, including but not limited to: Knowledge of building electrical systems (power, lighting, communications, lightning protection, security)
• Experience with industrial and manufacturing systems (process, chemical, water/wastewater, power, transmission lines, oil & gas)
• Detailed knowledge of design, equipment specification, testing, commissioning procedures, and fire investigations
• Master's degree or higher
• Multi‑state licensure
