Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with our Underwriting and Funding experts to prep mortgage files, ensuring every document is in place to keep our busiest season moving
- Act as a "second set of eyes" by reviewing funding documentation for accuracy and compliance—learning exactly what makes a mortgage "deal-ready."
- Handle the essential data entry required to advance funds, playing a direct role in helping our clients get the keys to their new homes
- Join the Credit Risk team to see how we identify and manage business risks, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at how a major lender operates
- Translate your classroom theory into high-volume professional experience, gaining a full-circle understanding of the mortgage lifecycle from start to finish
Skills
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education, majoring in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Unwavering professionalism and emotional intelligence, particularly when navigating high-pressure situations or escalated customer interactions
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- A 'see it through' mindset that ensures no customer issue is left hanging or forgotten
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
