Position Overview – Remote Licensed Social Worker (Part‑Time)
arenaflex is seeking a compassionate, detail‑oriented Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our remote case‑management team on a part‑time basis. In this role, you will partner closely with a registered nurse case manager to assess, plan, and advocate for members’ health, financial, transportation, safety, and housing needs. All interactions will be conducted via telephone or secure electronic platforms, allowing you to work from anywhere in the U.S. while maintaining a consistent schedule of Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Pacific Standard Time. No weekends or holidays are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Assessment & Planning: Conduct comprehensive, telephonic assessments of members’ medical, psychosocial, and environmental needs; develop individualized care plans in collaboration with nursing case managers.
- Resource Navigation: Research and connect members with community resources, including financial assistance programs, transportation services, safe housing options, and behavioral health supports.
- Advocacy & Coordination: Serve as the member’s advocate when interfacing with health plans, service providers, and external agencies to ensure appropriate benefits and services are accessed.

- Quality Improvement: Identify trends in member needs, contribute ideas for process improvements, and assist with program evaluations to enhance service delivery.

Essential Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of residence.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical social work, case management, or a closely related field.
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE‑accredited program.
