The role focuses on refining a compelling unscripted series with expert pacing and sound design to enhance the overall narrative flow and viewer engagement.
Responsibilities
• Deliver the final narrative and pacing polish on adobe premier, fully completed docu-series
• Review the ~200-minute runtime for optimal pacing, trimming awkward moments, optimizing transitions and camera angles, and enhancing overall narrative flow
• Improve the audio mix for clarity and immersion, layering in hip-hop-inspired bumps and vibes through strategic timing, cuts, or affordable royalty-free track suggestions
• Cut short-form bloopers reels from BTS footage if experience as a story producer is available
Skills
• 10+ years in documentary, reality TV, or unscripted content
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere
• Ability to deliver final narrative and pacing polish
• Experience in optimizing transitions and camera angles
• Sound design mastery for improving audio mix
• Ability to infuse rhythmic energy and emotional depth
• Efficient and collaborative working style
