The Boldt Company is a National Power & Industrial firm seeking a Traveling Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex renewable energy, power generation, and industrial projects across the U.S. This role involves coordinating project documentation, tracking schedules, and collaborating with various stakeholders while gaining hands-on experience on active job sites.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams by coordinating drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals
- Tracking schedules, quantities, and cost information
- Partnering with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep work moving efficiently
- Participate in site walks, inspections, and construction activities to understand sequencing, quality, and safety expectations
- Help advance safety, quality, and production initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first mindset
- Ability to travel 100% to project sites
- Exposure to construction or engineering software is a plus
- Experience in renewable energy, power generation, and/or industrial construction
