Provide legal advice and support for specialized financial products and services offered by Nationwide Mutual Insurance.
Serve as a key member of the Specialty Finance and Financial Risk Solutions team.
Utilize deep understanding of financial risk management to help develop and maintain effective risk management strategies.
Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to financial products and services.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure legal compliance and mitigate potential risks.
Stay informed about industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure Nationwide's continued success.
Advise and educate colleagues on legal matters relating to financial products and services.
Represent Nationwide in negotiations and discussions with external partners and clients.
Provide guidance and training to junior legal team members as needed.
Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation related to financial products and services.
Continuously monitor and assess potential legal risks and make recommendations for mitigation strategies.
Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
