ProAg, a member of Tokio Marine HCC group of companies, is looking for a dynamic, ambitious Senior District Sales Manager. This is an individual contributor role that offers an immense opportunity to develop strategic relationships with current and potential producers of profitable business within Ohio and Pennsylvania.
In This Exciting Opportunity, You Will:
- Develop a strategic territory plan by identifying and meeting with prospective agents regarding ProAg’s insurance offerings. Drive additional business through a variety of means including agency visits, social events, trade shows, and correspondence.
- Meet or exceed sales goals for both existing and new business within Ohio and Pennsylvania, along with developing and maintaining a database of current and prospective agents.
- Serve as a primary relationship owner, trusted advisor, and point of contact for assigned agent accounts to help them grow and manage their business.
- Become a subject-matter expert on ProAg’s products, business, and applications, as well as staying up-to-date on industry trends. Gain and maintain a clear understanding of Crop Insurance and ProAg’s Standard Reinsurance Agreement.
- Monitor competitor and industry trends to identify trends and changes in the marketplace
- Collaborate with internal resources as necessary to prepare for and deliver necessary training or educational events with regional training staff on ProAg programs, products, and technology.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and government regulations.
- Perform other relevant duties and projects assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for the District Sales Manager will have demonstrated success in the primary areas of focus and responsibility.
- Experience – Ideally, the successful candidate will have at least two years of sales experience, crop insurance experience preferred.
- Communication – Must be an exceptional communicator with the ability to facilitate cross-functionally to ensure clear and expeditious communication.
- Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment.
- Required to travel outside normal work location, travel is up to 75%
- Must have the ability to work independently, focusing on achieving organizational goals and tasks with drive and energy to succeed.
- The ability to build trust and relationships with key constituencies.

Pay Transparency
The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000, which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. The pay range is the range THMCC, in good faith, believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The hired applicant will be offered pay within the entire range based on the candidate’s geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
